Three Things God Can't Do

Did you know that there are Three Things God Cant Do?

1. He cannot lie.
2. He cannot learn.
3. He cannot force you to love Him.

There are also Four Things God Doesnt Know.

1. He doesn't know a sin He doesn't hate.
2. He doesn't know a sinner He doesn't love.
3. He doesn't know an alternate path to His Throne, but through His son.
4. He doesn't know a better time, to accept Him, than right now!

Shabbat Shalom!

  1. Wow brother, it seems to me that your god has a lot of limitations.
Does he have to go through his son to get to his throne ?
What did he do before he had a son ?
What else can't he do ?
You have forgotten to mention that he can't make a rock so big that he can't lift it :-)
If he has so many limitations, why doesn't he ask you to do the things he can't do ?
And if he is limited in knowledge, perhaps he should have thought your counsel; are you not also his son ?

Well my friend, my God is a lot better than your god :-)
He has ALL knowledge and He has ALL power and nothing is impossible for Him.
Every power or principality or domain in heaven and on earth has been made by Him and for Him.
Everything that was made, was made by the Lord Jesus Christ.

The Lord Jesus said, "Thus says the Lord, your redeemer, and the one who has formed you in the womb, I the Lord, am the maker of all things, stretching out the heavens by Myself and spreading out the earth 'ALL ALONE', causing the omens of boasters to fail, making fools out of diviners, causing wise men to draw back and turning their knowledge into foolishness" (Isa. 44:24-25).

You see, that is my God, He didn't need a son to do the job. He alone is the only redeemer Jesus Christ the ONLY saviour (Jude 1:4).

Perhaps, if you forsake your god and turn to the Lord Jesus Christ you might have a better view of the true God (1 John 5:20) :-)

  2. Paul,
I think you have read Keith's post in the same way you read the scriptures - not understanding them.

What Keith has written about God shows, not as you say that He has limitations, but that He not only has no limitations but that He also is not lacking in His love for mankind.

  3. Are you serious Brenda ?
    I hope you're kidding, are you ?

I like to say that I am speechless, but I'm not so sure that I am :-)

Keith said, '4. He doesn't know a better time, to accept Him, than right now!'

You and Keith ACCEPTING the King of Kings ? :-o
Who do you think that you are, as for you to accept a King ?
Don't you think that it might be the other way around ?
Perhaps the King of Kings might accept you, if you would walk humbly before the King.

  4. Paul,
I agree with Brenda. Do you even read the post sometimes, before commenting? The "limitations", in this post are more to express the limitless breath of God's love for us all.

  5. Paul, I believe what Keith is saying regarding accepting Jesus is correct.
    John ch. 1 v. 12 says:-
' But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, to them that believe on his name:'

    Mark ch. 16 v. 16 says:-
'Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.'

I would hope that anyone reading this post who is not a child of God would be encouraged to make the right choice by accepting Jesus into their lives.

God uses us to preach the Gospel of salvation in many ways, one plants one waters....but it is only God who can add the increase and that is why what we plant and what we water has to be the truth of the Word of God. It is only that Word that has the power to bring into existence that which does not exist.

'Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy has begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 1 Peter 1, 3.

  6. Brenda, you said, 'Paul, I believe what Keith is saying regarding accepting Jesus is correct.

'Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.'

Those are statements Brenda and NOT jobs we need to do.
You can NOT receive a King! It's the other way around.

Just think, can you go to the Queen of England and say to here, "Now I will receive you" ?
What do you think she will say to you ?
And what do you think that the King of Kings will say to you when you say to Him, "OK, now I will receive you" ?

Well, I can tell you what He will say to you, 'depart from Me you who practice lawlessness, I never knew you.'
Remember, I'm the Kings ambassador, a representative of the King and His Kingdom.

Look Brenda, you need to CAREFULLY read the Scriptures, and THINK what it says; don't assume.
    John 1:12 is a STATEMENT !
It states that those who have RECEIVED (past tense), in other words, in those in whom the Lord Jesus already has made His abode, or those who are already born again (as a free gift) are the children of God.
It does not mean that you can accept the Lord Jesus Christ, that is not possible, but plainly rude and arrogant.
Don't you know that the Lord opposes the proud and the arrogant ?

You need to REPENT and BELIEVE in the Lord Jesus Christ, and only then you shall be saved.

  7. Those scriptures in John 1 and Mark ch 16 are statements of instruction Paul. The first one being confirmation and proof of the Words of instruction, coming from the mouth of Jesus in the second one.

Where you claim that John ch. 1 v. 12 is a statement of what has been done, of course it is. That is because John ch. 1 vs. 1 - 13 is an overall summary of the Word of God being made flesh and the church being formed. The church are those who receive Jesus, who believe in his name, who are born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.
