The Weight Of The Soul?????

Did you know, that between the years of 1907 and 1911, Dr. Duncan MacDougall, of Haverhill, Massachusetts conducted experiments to measure the weight of the soul, as a person dies? During these experiments, Dr. McDougall actually measured and concluded, that there was an average weight loss of 21.3 g, at the moment, a person passes away. Even though his conclusions, that it was the soul, have been disputed, the results have never been discounted or disapproved.

The Second Law of Thermodynamics Drives Another Nail Into The Coffin Of Evolution

Did you know that Evolution goes against the Second Law of Thermodynamics? The Second Law of Thermodynamics states that everything, in the universe, is going from order to disorder, otherwise it is decaying.b this process continues unless abated by an outside force. However, the Theory of Evolution states a reverse of decay is natural and expected  What supporters of Evolution won't freely admit and tell you is that evolution is a very not a proven fact. Where as, the Second Law of Thermodynamics has been observed and is a proven fact. However, the thing that amazes me is that the Bible, stated that everything is going from order to disorder, long before scientists discovered and observed the aspects of the Second Law of Thermodynamics.

Yahweh Saves!

Did you know that the name of God, YHWH, appears 6823 times, in the Bible, far more than any other name? However, it is by the name of Y'shua, that every knee shall bow, at the judgment throne of God. Why? How does proclaiming the name of Y'shua give glory to God? Because when you proclaim the name of Y'shua, you are saying, "YHWH Saves" or "YHWH is my Salvation", which is what the name of Y'shua literally means.

Even The Numbers Point To The Cross

Did you know that in the Book of Bamidbar, the Book of Numbers, God told the Israelites, a special way, to encamp, around the tabernacle? The book also tells us the quantity, of each tribe and what side, they were to encamp. To the north, behind the tribe of Dan, 157,600. To the south, behind the tribe of Ruben, 151,400. To the east, behind the tribe of Judah, 186,400. To the west, behind the tribe of Ephraim, 108,400. Now, you are probably wondering, "Why, in the world, have you dragged me through these numbers?". Well, if you will, imagine yourself as an eagle, flying over the desert. You are swooping, through the valley of Sinai and you come to a mountain. As you rise majestically over this mountain, you are treated, to the vision, that you see, in the picture below. You see, everything, including the numbers, in the Bible, points to the Messiah and his sacrifice upon the altar of God, the Cross. Oh, excuse me, I forgot, it's just another coincidence.

Where Does Y'shua First Show Up In The Bible?

Did you know that John chapter one proclaims that another name for Y'shua, Jesus, is the Word of God. and that he actually claims it, when he alludes to himself, as the Alpha and the Omega, in the Book of Revelation? However, what is not widely known is that the Alef and the Tav, the Hebrew equilivant, for Alpha and Omega, can be found, in the Hebrew text, right after the word Elohim, in the first verse of the Bible. If we read the first verse of the Bible as they do in Hebrew, with all silent letters, it would read, "In the beginning, God (Elohim), The Alef and Tav, (Alpha and Omega), created the heavens and the earth." Amazingly, the name of Y'shua, Jesus, is nestled covertly, in the first verse of the Bible, thereby supporting John chapter 1, where it says , "In the beginning was the Word... and nothing was created, without the Word of God."

Adam and Eve, A Love Story?

Did you know that Adam was not deceived by Satan, in the garden, but deliberately entered into sin, for the sake of Eve? Everyone knows that Eve was deceived, by Satan, in the same way you and I are deceived every day. However, as a great model, foretelling how the Messiah would deliberately take on the sin of mankind, so you and I can live, Adam deliberately took on sin, in order to sacrifice himself, so God would not take the life of Eve. Isn't that a beautiful love story. The Bible is full of these events, which modeled or foretold of the coming Messiah. After a while, you've got to quit calling it coincidence and come to the realization, that it is a supernatural message, from a supernatural God, from Beyond Time and Space.

Y'shua, Jesus, Kinsman Redeemer!

Did you know that during Shavuot, the Feast of Weeks, Pentecost, that a required reading is the book of Ruth? If you step back and look at a general synopsis of the book of Ruth, you will find that it is a story of a gentile bride pursuing a Jewish husband. Before the marriage between the two can occur, the Jew must play the role of the Kinsman Redeemer and redeem the bride in place of the brother, who should have redeemed her in the first place. The reason, that the brother couldn't redeem her, was he wasn't righteous. Amazingly, this is the exact redemption story behind Y'shua's, Jesus, first visit to earth. I think it is amazing, that the Tanahk, the Old Testament,  consistently models the redemption story, from beginning to end, that Jesus fulfilled in his first visit. Then, turn around and have the beginning, of this reconciliation, occur on the same day that God has been preparing the Jewish people, with a story that pointed to it, for years in advance. I'm sorry, that is way beyond coincidence and you can only find this in the Bible.

Shavuot! Happy Anniversary Church!

Did you know that tomorrow is Shavuot, The Feast of Weeks, Pentecost? Yes, it has been 50 days since Passover. Shavuot commemorates the anniversary of the day that God gave the Torah to Israel, while they were assembled at Mount Sinai, just after the Exodus. It is also the anniversary of  the giving of God's Holy Spirit, as a permanent indwelling, in all true believers. This also the Beginning of the reconciliation of the House of Israel and the House of the Gentiles, known as the Christian Church. Some believe that this will be the day that the Messiah will return, while I'm of the belief that it will be on a future Yom Teruah, Feast of Trumpets, at the last trump. Happy Anniversary Church!

God Has A Sense Of Humor

Did you know that NASA recently discovered that the Milky Way was being propelled, by an unknown power source, along its way in the cosmos, at a faster speed than anything else, which defies conventional theory? They also discovered that everything was being pulled to one point in space, dubbed "The Attractor". While studying the math of this discovery, Michio Kaku, a theoretical physicist, was quoted as saying, "The math is all wrong. This points to design." Well, let me make the next leap of logic. Design means a designer. Also, it is my opinion that this discovery shows that God has a sense of humor.

Purer Than Ivory Soap

Did you know that the US Treasury Department teaches their agents, not to study counterfeit money, but to examine only the real thing? Any deviation is considered to be a fake. That is the same way, that God approaches his Word. With so many religious books around the world, claiming to be the Word of God, The Bible stands alone, as 100% error free. That is better than Ivory Soap, which claims to be 99.9% pure. Even God holds his Word above his own name. Psalm 138:2.

Three Things God Can't Do

Did you know that there are Three Things God Cant Do?

1. He cannot lie.
2. He cannot learn.
3. He cannot force you to love Him.

There are also Four Things God Doesnt Know.

1. He doesn't know a sin He doesn't hate.
2. He doesn't know a sinner He doesn't love.
3. He doesn't know an alternate path to His Throne, but through His son.
4. He doesn't know a better time, to accept Him, than right now!

Shabbat Shalom!

Abraham Saw My Day And Rejoiced In It

Did you know that God spoke in the Old Testament, with models or parables, in the same way that Y'shua, Jesus, did in the New Testament? Everyone knows the story of Abraham and his attempt at the sacrifice of Isaac. If you step back and look at a general synopsis of the story, in the same way you do with parables, you find that God required a man to sacrifice another man, of his own lineage, for the remission of sins. Because the sacrificed of Isaac would be unacceptable, God substituted a ram, a scapegoat, in his place. This is the exact same thing that occurred at the cross. Amazingly, this is what Y'shua, Jesus meant, when he said, "Abraham saw my day and rejoiced in it."
