Yes, Christians Suck At Times. So..Bear With Us. At The Very Least, We Are Committed To You.

To those who wonder why Christians are so adamant about their beliefs and why they don't bend in their beliefs. Well, it all comes down to a committed love, based in the truth of God's Word, towards everyone, including those who are not the most friendly towards them. This committed love is define by the Apostle Paul, in Philippians 1:9-10.

And this I pray, in order that your loving commitment might overflow even more and more, in ethical and divine knowledge and all discernment and perception, that you scrutinize and test all things for authenticity, whether good or evil, so you may be pure and not a stumbling block, until the day of the Messiah.

It's all about authenticity, even though we falter at times. Those who love God and his Word are committed towards spreading the news of God's Love and Truth and his commitment to reconcile mankind back to him through the sacrifice of his Son, Y'shua/Jesus. As seen in the above verses from Philippians, you can see that our love is a commitment and commandment to search out and spread the truth, regardless of your particular set of beliefs. True Christians should receive all the facts and continually check them against God's Word.

They are supposed to do this with brotherly love. If you think about this, the love between brothers can be very frank and perceived as curt and unfriendly at times. As Christians, we strive forward with the thought that it's better to hurt feelings, at times, than to lose anyone to the depths of hell.

Unfortunately, there are also all types of Christians, who are steeped in tradition, rather than the truth of the scriptures. These immature Christians sometimes believe that they possess the truth and don't continually fact check. They believe in a pseudo-truth, which is based in non biblical tradition, self aggrandizing and even a delusional sense of self-worth. Also, along with these impure beliefs, these Christians display tactics, which are not Christ-Like, like ignoring scripture that disagree with their positions, using hate tactics and so on.

So, when dealing with all types of Christians, keep in mind that all true Christians are sinners saved by the Grace of God, through the sacrifice of his Son, our Lord Jesus Christ. Yes, we all suck at times. We may even get on your nerves. So...please pray for us or ignore us, because we are not going away. Whether you believe it or not, true Christians do believe that your salvation is between you and God. We are here only to facilitate the process and are committed to the salvation of everyone, whether you accept it or not.

  1. This a true and lovely post you have put up here Keith, and in order to attain the love that is spoken of in the scriptures we have to abide by those scriptures in order to maintain that love.
Where you speak about brotherly love reminds me of what I have shared in the past regarding my earthly father who used to say, when me and my siblings used to argue over any issue and ask 'Dad, dad who is right.' He used to say 'Let's see what the Lord says.' and find a solution to all of our problems within the scriptures, and always knew where to find it.

  2. As always, Brenda, you never fail to edify your brothers and sisters. Thanks for your comment, especially since you are truly a warrior of Christ, one that checks her scriptures over and over when you do spiritual battle.

  3. Well my friend, I also like to encourage you to turn away from the Yahweh witness religion and turn to the Lord Jesus Christ and be saved.

You see my friend, “LOVE”, is to tell you the truth, and the truth is the Lord Jesus Christ (John 14:6).
No no, the truth is NOT a doctrine, the truth is the Lord Jesus Christ !
And NO, the truth is NOT Yahweh, the truth is JESUS !

Providing that you would believe the Bible.
    Look, I will quote you the Bible word for word;
Jesus said to you, “I AM the way, and the TRUTH, and the life; …”

You see, there is NO other way but JESUS !
There is NO other TRUTH but JESUS !
There is NO other life but JESUS !

Can you see, without the Lord Jesus Christ, YOU have NOTHING !

That is the LOVE which Jesus has, any other love is worldly love.

Well my friend, someone needs to tell you.
May as well be me :-)

  4. Just to add.
As I have said in my previous comment, without JESUS you have NOTHING !
Without Jesus you have NO Father, apart from your father the devil.
Without Jesus you have NO God, apart from the god of this world (2 Cor.4:4).
Without Jesus you have NO Lord, apart from the lord of this world. (2 Cor. 4:4)
Without Jesus you have NO Son, apart from the sons of this world.
Without Jesus you have NO Holy Spirit, apart from those deceiving spirits who have deceived you in believing in the devil called Yahweh.

Without Jesus you have NO hope, apart from hopelessness.
Without Jesus you have NO way, apart from the wrong way..
Without Jesus you have NO TRUTH, apart from lies and deception.
Without Jesus You have NO life, apart from death and destruction.

I can go on and on and tell you that without JESUS who is the Christ, you have absolutely NOTHING my friend.

Would you like me to tell you what you will have with your god Yahweh ??

  5. Y’shua said, “I Am the way, Truth and Life. No one goes TO THE Father, but THROUGH ME.”

That is the complete verse of John 14:6.

You continually leave out parts of Gods Word and you say that we are of the deceiver. It’s time to look into the mirror.

    ReplyDelete
  6. Absolutely NO my friend, Y’shua did NOT say that.
JESUS said that, “I AM the way, and the TRUTH, and the life; …”
I have quoted that word for word from the Bible.

I thought that I would not need not to quote the rest of the Bible.
If you can’t understand that, then you cannot understand the rest either.

OK.I will quote more from the Bible, word for word.
“no one one COMES to the Father but THROUGH Me. If you would have known Me, you would have known My Father also;”

Do you think that the Lord Jesus Christ is a DOORMAT ?
So that you can walk THROUGH Jesus Christ to the Father ?
May that never be my friend.

Look, I will quote more from the Bible, word for word.
“from now on you KNOW Him, and have SEEN Him.”

If you don’t know and can't see Him, then you don’t know the Father.

Would you like me to quote you more from the Bible word for word ??

It gets a lot better my friend :-)

  7. Can you see how you twisted a word in your statement.
You said, “No one 'GOES' to the Father.”

But the Bible said, word for word “No one COMES to the Father”.
There is a big difference my friend.

  8. Keith,
I was reading the comment that Paul has put in initially regarding Jesus being the way to the Father, but leaving out the bit about the Father, and definitely not understanding what the word 'through' means. I thought 'I think Keith will finish the scripture for him as Paul always leaves out half of the truth, he makes a complete fool of himself in his comments.' Then I look at your comment :-)

  9. Brenda, are you also one who thinks that “THROUGH” means, the LORD Jesus Christ is a DOORMAT to the Father ?
I’m not surprised that you would believe that ungodly nonsense.

Look Brenda, you can’t sneak a devil into the place of the Father :-)

  10. Paul, I have no problem referencing Y’shua as Jesus, in the same way that I have no problem referencing the apostle Paul as Saul or if you were raised as being called Junior you would answer to both Paul and Junior. There is no difference. The difference exist only in your mind. But, I’ll tell you what, I will reference Y’shua as Jesus from here on out when I’m talking with you. I promise I will lower myself to your maturity level in all future conversations .

As for using the word come or go, I could use enter in, if I wanted to. The words mean the same thing. However, again, to lower myself to your maturity level, I will use the word come in John 14:6. Does that make you happy? It doesn’t change the fact that you left out the rest of the verse and you are ignoring that you must enter through Jesus to get to the father. It’s the same way if we changed The word father to room and the word Jesus to a door. The door in the room can exclusively exist. However, to enter into a room, you must have a door. You remove the door and you still have the room. You cannot enter into a door to get to a door. It makes no sense.

With that said, John 14:6 says that you cannot come or go to the father without going through Jesus. In the same way you cannot go to the room without going through a door. Jesus even said I am the door.

Finally, to address your idiotic reference to Jesus being a doormat., You don’t walk through a doormat. You walk upon a doormat. We said nothing along those lines. Once again, you add to both the scripture and to our comments to make your evil and false doctrine more palatable to your immature mind.

I honestly believe that your mind leaves those parts of the verses out because deep down inside you know that they are false and you don’t want them to get in the way of your false doctrine.

  11. Brenda, Great minds think alike. Spiritual minds think the same. I believe that’s because the same Spirit is in both of us, the Spirit of God. I also agree with you that Paul‘s Doctrine looks very foolish to anyone that is willing to take the smallest amount of time to look it up for themselves.

  12. Not a doormat Paul, a gateway.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Come on Brenda, it says Jesus, not Gateway. Also, gateways don’t have doormats. LOL Sorry. I couldn’t help myself.

  16. Actually, anonymous, I have a doormat at the base of my stairs for my darling cat to sharpen her claws on, to encourage her not to sharpen her claws on the bedroom carpet. Lol I could not resist telling you that either:-)

  17. Keith have I accidently come onto a mens fashion site instead of your blog? :-)

    ReplyDelete
  18. LOL Brenda, LOL I guess our conversation has gone to the silly side, since Paul’s argument is so silly and lacks foundation.

  19. Anonymous, I don’t know if you know this but you can actually put your name in, instead of using anonymous. It’s one of the choices. In the drop-down box, it gives you a choice for anonymous or name/URL. Don’t worry about the URL, just put your name there or you can use anonymous. I just appreciate you commenting

  21. All of you, I see nothing wrong in a little humour, laughter is good for the soul eh? However Paul - regarding the truth of the scriptures - I will serious dispute your beliefs when they go against what is written

  22. Funny Man. Tim, Funny Man. LOL

  23. Amen Brenda, to what you said to Paul,

    ReplyDelete
  24. Of course he dresses better than how he adds mustard to hotdogs.

Yes, Brenda, laughter is a way to break a spirit. And as this post and thread is all about we as Christians just don't act and treat people right all the time.

We're passionate and want to share our beliefs as much as we can.

I honestly wouldn't mind Paul if he would have a conversation. But he doesn't. I don't even want to go back to his blog because I know if I do all I will see if the same message with a different title each time posing as though this was a new and enlightened message for all to see for the first time.

And for your response, I was thinking the same thing. Who said anything about a doormat? Does he even know what that means in english? Isn't it funny yet sad that he believes that the Bible was written in english and is the language of God but he doesn't even know what some words in english mean? He has to translate words yet can't understand that the Bible is translated into english as well.

  25. I honestly think that Paul doesn't have the ability to reason. Not to be mean, but maybe a mental disorder. That's why I stay out of any conversation with him. It's either a disorder or he's deliberately playing with us. Either way, it brings out the worst in me and I don't like it.

  26. By the way, Good Post as always. Still waiting on the YouTube stuff.

  27. Bobby's World. What a lark? I use to watch it.

As for the John 14:6 comments, for what it's worth, it's a no brainer. How could anyone argue that Jesus is the door to the father and you walk through a door. Duh!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  28. Keith, perhaps you don’t have a problem with calling Jesus Christ Y’shua.
That is like calling Keith, Tom.
I don’t think that you understand that either.

    And neither is PAUL, Saul.
Obviously, on the road to Damascus Saul died, and he became born again a brand new man old things have passed away and behold all things are new, even his name was new from that time on and he was called PAUL.
So, therefore don’t call him Saul, call him PAUL just as the Bible said.

And NO ! “Comes and goes” are NOT the same thing as you have said.
Do you really think that I am stupid Keith ?

Perhaps your cult members, they might agree with that statement “come and go are the same thing”.
Tell me, do you call a statement like that ‘reason’ ?

And don’t try to talk yourself out of your dilemma, by twisting your speech and rearranging your words so as to deceive the ignorant.
Or don’t you remember that for every careless word you have to give account to my Father on that day.

  29. Yes Chris, the truth is always in opposition with a lie, just the same as Jesus Christ has nothing in common with the devil, and they are never in agreement.

    ReplyDelete
  30. And does Jesus walk through a door to the father Duh!!!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  31. Paul, whether you go through a door, come in through a door, you enter through the door. It's the same thing. I willing to bet that if you went and asked your wife or anyone off the street right now, what's the difference between coming in a door or going through a door or even entering a door, they would say that it's the same thing.

You asked, "Do you really think that I am stupid Keith ?" Please don't tempt me to give you a straight forward answer to that question. :-)

  32. I think the best way to describe a door, or doorway, is something that gives access. Jesus gives us access to the Father. Praise His lovely name.
I agree Tim with what you have said. It is very difficult to have a conversation with Paul, and I do not feel 'attached' spiritually to him.
As with a physical family you interact and feel joined together, so with a spiritual family we are joined together as brothers and sisters in Christ, with God as our Father. It is difficult to feel joined together as brother or sister with someone who clearly does not claim to have the same father. I have to say that Paul's blog is possessed by a spirit of hatred, and not love.

  33. Whether Jesus is a Door or not, even though the Bible says he is, the Bible clearly says that you go through Jesus. You go through something to get somewhere or to something. To ignore that, you would deny basic English and logic.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Brenda, the Bible and I agree with you.

  35. Hi Jacquie, Thanks for commenting. I agree with your logic. I hope you continue to impart us with the wisdom, that God has given you.
