Y'shua (Jesus) Named As The Messiah, In The Tanakh (Old Testament)

Did you know that the name of Y'shua, Jesus, actually appears 35 times in the Tanakh, Old Testament, when you read the original Hebrew text? The amazing thing is that 7 times, it is a prophesy, concerning the Coming Messiah and actually names, Y'shua(Jesus), as the Messiah. The following verses are three of the those most amazing Messianic Prophesy verses. Check it out for yourself.

ADONAI (The Lord) has proclaimed to the end of the earth, "Say to the daughter of Tziyon (Zion), Y'shua (Jesus) is coming! Here, his reward is with him, and his recompense is before him.'" Isaiah 62:11

Rejoice with all your heart, daughter of Tziyon(Zion)! Shout out loud, daughter of Yerushalayim(Jerusalem)! Look! Your king is coming to you. He is the righteous, Y'shua (Jesus). Yet he is humble - he's riding on a donkey, yes, on a lowly donkey's colt. Zechariah 9:9

...(The Lord) saw no man, no one to intercede; then his own arm brought Y'shua (Jesus), and his righteousness upheld him. Isaiah 59:16

....and that's what you'll find, When You Search For The Truth.

  1. Keith, Isaiah 62:11 and Zechariah 9:9 and Isaiah 59:16, does not mentioned the Name Jesus, simple, in the Old Testament His Name was not known and not given till He was born into His own creation.

  2. Hi Paul, One day we need to meet, so I can tell whether or not you are pulling my leg. Until then, I will have to take you on your word. With that said, your allegiance to the error-ridden English Bible continually astonishes me. The reason, that the name of Y'shua, Jesus does not show up in your English Bible, is that the original translators of your Bible had an agenda. That was to establish a Jewish Free doctrine, one with their own god, the one that you worship today. However, if you look at the text, from which your Bible is translated, you will find the name of Y'shua, Jesus, exactly where I told you. Until you are willing to take off your blinders and look for yourself, using the Holy Spirit of God, you will remain with your head in the ground, blind to the truth and the true doctrine of God.

  4. Keith, the BIBLE is called the Word of God and no other books.
It is a collection of 66 books put into ONE book, and put together by the Spirit of the Lord who used numerous men of all walks of life to compile it into one book.
I'm sure that the Lord our God is able to write His Word without anyone perverting it.

Well my friend, I ought to know it, because the Lord Jesus told me so :-)
Nearly two thousand years after the resurrection the Lord Jesus Christ, He also appeared to me in a dramatic way.
But because you don't believe in His Word, you wouldn't believe me either.

  5. Paul, You are correct the Bible is 66 books, written by over 40 different writers, inspired by God, over thousands of years, with one intergrated message, that the Lord Yahweh, your God, has provided his Son, Y'shua, as a perfect conduit, to return all his prodigal children to himself. It is also true that the Lord preserved and continue to preserve his Word through all generations.

I also know that the Lord spoke to you and told you so. However, he was referring to the original text from which your errant English Bible was written. Ask him again. He speaks to me on a daily basis and continues to motivate me to testify to you. Why do you think I continue to present the truth to you? If it were up to me, I would have given up a while back. You may talk to him, but you don't listen. The way you bend the scriptures to fit your man made doctrine shows that your listening skills are poor. Wake up and open your wyes and ears, man. The Lord is calling. Answer him.

  6. Brenda, Soooooo True! It is amazing that every word points to God and his son. Each day, God reveals himself more and more to those who open their eyes to see him. Our Spirit grows brighter every day that we get to know him more.
