The True Pathway To God???

Did you know there are numerous intriguing things in the Bible? One is where Y'shua (Jesus) makes this offhanded comment to Natan’el (Nathaniel) about the amazing things that he will see. This is documented in John 1:49-51.

Natan’el (Nathaniel) said, “Rabbi, you are the Son of God! You are the King of Isra’el!” Yeshua (Jesus)answered him, “you believe all this just because I told you I saw you under the fig tree? You will see greater things than that!” Then he said to him, “Yes indeed! I tell you that you will see heaven opened and the angels of God going up and coming down on the Son of Man!”

Most well-adjusted Bible readers will read right on past and not think anything about this. However, some of us think back to Ya'akov's (Jacob) dream, at Bethel, where in a dream, Ya'akov's (Jacob) is treated to a behind the scenes look at the inter-dimensional reality, in which we live. Genesis 28:10-14

Ya'akov (Jacob) went out from Be'er-Sheva (Beersheba) and traveled toward Haran. He came to a certain place and stayed the night there, because the sun had set. He took a stone from the place, put it under his head and lay down there to sleep. He dreamt that there before him was a ladder resting on the ground with its top reaching to heaven, and the angels of YHWH (Yahweh) were going up and down on it. YHWH (Yahweh) was standing at the top; and he said, "I am YHWH (Yahweh), the God of Avraham (Abraham), your [grand]father and the God of Yitz'chak (Isaac). The land on which you are lying I will give to you and to your descendants. Your descendants will be as numerous as the grains of dust on the earth. You will expand to the west and to the east, to the north and to the south. By you and your descendants all the families of the earth will be blessed.

Not only was Ya'akov (Jacob) treated to a one on one summit meeting with God, he foresaw the future interdimensional pathway, by which, not only the Angels of YHWH would travel, but, we too would travel back to the presence of God, himself. That pathway is Y’shua (Jesus).

In the book of John, Y’shua (Jesus) gave us another Tanakh (Old Testament) forshadowing / glimpse at how the Bible is a collection of books, that together is a Supenatural Intergrated Message System, designed as both a personal and corporate Love Letter, to the Remnant of Yah (YHWH, Yahweh).

…and that’s what you’ll find, When You Search For The Truth.

  1. Hi Keith, I think that all of us who are born again can see the angels of God going up and coming down on the Lord Jesus Christ, that is because the heavens have been opened to us.
But the only problem is that some can't see it.

And it is the Lord Jesus Christ who is the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob just as Isaiah has said (Isa. 9:6).

  2. Hey Paul, Doesn't it kind of remind you of how Elisha asked God to reveal the armies of God, that were on the nearby mountain, to his servant? We, who are able to see the spiritual things, know that they, which are for us, are greater than those are against us.

  3. Hi Keith,
I love what you have said here:-
' the Bible is a collection of books, that together is a Supernatural Integrated Message System, designed as both a personal and corporate Love Letter, to the Remnant of Yah (YHWH, Yahweh).'
I have always seen it like this.

There are things that we are reminded of constantly as we grow in the Lord and the things of God, including Who Jesus is.

This morning I was reading Matthew ch. 22, which links to the time of David in the old testament, yet is able to speak timelessly of God speaking to Jesus Whom He made our Lord:-

'While the Pharisees were gathered together, Jesus asked them, “What do you think about the Messiah? Whose son is he?”
'The son of David,' they replied.
He said to them, 'How is it then that David, speaking by the Spirit, calls him ‘Lord’? For he says,

“‘The Lord said to my Lord:
    “Sit at my right hand
    until I put your enemies
    under your feet.”’

Because David was inspired by the Spirit to say this, it can also go together with Jesus going and speaking to the spirits of the dead, even though they were spoken by two different people many years apart.

  4. Hi Brenda. I am always amazed at how awesome is his Word. It's so dynamic that it would take more than a lifetime to completely fathom, if that is even possible. I think it's great that there is always something new to learn about God.

It's funny that you're in Matthew 22. Our small group met last last night, and we are right behind you, in chapter 21. It's amazes me how long a spirit led study lasts sometimes. We started Matthew two years ago.

    1. What kind of study group are you in Keith, if you don't mind me asking (just curious.):-)

    2. I like to call it, 'A Bottom Feeder Study'. In our study, I insist on active participation, while openly challenging each other, as the Spirit leads. We, not only explore the surface information, but dig as deep as we can into the underlying levels of understanding. I constantly remind everyone that Bible Study is a Participatory Relationship Building Activity. I think you would really like it.

    3. I think I would really like that too Keith, that is how it was always meant to be. The body of Christ consists of many parts.
Perhaps you should have that discussion as a blog eh?

  5. Amen Keith, I fully agree with you on that :-)

  6. Good to emphasise that the Scriptures are one integrated message, with the old testament to be read in the light of the new. And all interpretation depends on the Lord as teacher, and the Holy Spirit.
