The Original Biblical Text Reveals Truth Behind Trinity Doctrine

Did you know that Matthew 28:19 does not say:

"Go you therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit."

and 1John 5:7 does not say:

"For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one."

in the original text?

As a matter of fact, Matthew 28:19 actually says:

"Go and make disciples of all nations in my name.”

and

1John 5:7 doesn't even exist.  It was made up and inserted into our English Bible. Check it out for yourself.

What does that mean to us? It means that, if we want to know what is the true Word of God, we need to get back to the original text and use the English translations, as reference only.

Especially in today's world, we need to be cognitive of Satan' deceptive ways. As with Eve, in the garden, Satan loves to change the Word of God around, in order to deceive us.

… and that's what you'll find When You Search For The Truth.

  1. I have often thought that these words did not quite go together with what Jesus says regarding the Father in certain scriptures, but I have always believed where Jesus says:- 'I and the Father are One', that He is speaking of being One with the Father in Spirit, but not in the flesh, and I never use the word 'trinity' as it is not in the Bible.

There are words which Jesus speaks such as 'The Father is greater than I' and 'Why do you call me good, only God is good.' which have always discounted the word 'trinity' for me.

  2. Hi Brenda, I totally agree! The Spirit is continually trying to get our attention that way. God eagerly wants to show the truth to those whose eyes are wide open. I praise God for our eyes are open and we are being drawn closer to him.

  3. Keith, Yes the Word of God does contain Matthew 28:19 and 1 John 5:7 just as it says.
No wonder you don't know who God is.
Don't say that you believe the Word of God, if you change the wording to fit your doctrines.
The Bible is the Word of God and NO OTHER writings.

The devil did say to Eve, that the Bible is not really the Word of God and Mat. 28:19 and 1 John 5:7 is not really there, you need to look elsewhere.

  4. Hey Paul. As I just wrote, in the other post, I'm sorry, but the scriptures and the Greek dictionary just don't agree with you. I know that you have put a lot of stock into the erroneous English translation of the Bible, but wouldn't you rather know the truth before you stand before the throne of God? If anything, I would think you would agree to this one post. It decimates the doctrine of the Trinity, which both of us know that the Scriptures do not support. Is your allegiance, to the erroneous translations of the Bible and the so-called reputable men of your faith, that strong?

  5. Well my friend, the Bride of Christ does not stand before the throne of God.
Tell me, which Bridegroom who is in his right mind judges His beloved Bride ?

You must have read that in the wrong book, but I recommend that you read the Word of God which is the Bible :-)

As you know, I don't believe the trinity doctrine, I vigorously oppose that doctrine at any time and on every blog who promotes that evil doctrine.
You didn't actually decimate the doctrine of the trinity, otherwise I would have given you a BIG AMEN.
I think that you are too soft on that evil doctrine, the trinity. :-)

  6. Hi Paul, I didn't say the Bride of Christ would be judged. However, we all will stand before the throne of God. Revelation 20:12 and before the judgement throne of the Messiah, 2 Corinthians 5:10.

As for the Trinity Doctrine, without Matthew 28:19 and 1 John 5:7, all Trinity references are inference, not specific. Without theses two verses, I doubt that the Trinity Doctrine would have survived all these years. It was the reputable men of faith, who translated the scriptures into English, who perpetuated the lie.

  7. Hi Keith, well, I will not stand before any judgement seat whatsoever, just as I have said.
It was the Lord Jesus Christ who was judged and condemned for my sins, therefore I cannot be judged again, otherwise it would be double jeopardy.
And, as I said, the Bride of Christ will not be judged, because the Bridegroom laid down His life for His Bride and He took it up again.

Concerning the trinity, trinitarians are very smart and they have a lot more Scriptures to support their deception.
Remember, the devil knows the Scriptures just like the best among us :-)

  8. Hi Paul, Well, we end this discussion with another example of you ignoring scripture, in lieu of your man-made doctrine. Until next time, my friend.

  9. Oh dear,
even though I did say to Paul that there is no more to say, on his blog, after reading what he said regarding the devil knowing the scriptures I have to say that Jesus answered the devil by saying 'It is written', not 'it is metaphorically written':)

  10. Hi Brenda. Sooooo True! With all due respect to Paul, I can't honestly see how someone, who claims to study God's word, could be so far from the truth. His position cannot not even be logically argued, most of the time, so unscriptural.

  11. I know it is Keith,
and I hope that Paul, and anybody who believes the same way as he does in a doctrine which so obviously rejects scripture, that even Jesus Himself confirms, will have their eyes open to the truth of that Word.
