Tisha B' Av Was Started So The People Would Proclaim Yahweh Saves!

Did you know that the following events, have one thing in common?

1. Spies returning, to report, to Moses, that there were giants, in the land. God saw this as a sign of a Great Lack of Faith and sentenced the Israelites, to 40 years of wondering, basically sentencing that whole generation to death, in the desert. 1313 BC
2. The destruction of the 1st Temple. 586 BC
3. The destruction of the 2nd Temple. 70 AD
4. Over 100,000 Jewish rebels were brutally butchered, at Betar. 132 AD
5. Turnus Rufus ploughs site of Temple, making way to build the pagan city of Aelia Capitolina, on the site, of Jerusalem. 133 AD
6. First Crusade declared by Pope Urban II. 10,000 Jews killed in first month of Crusade. Crusades bring death and destruction to thousands of Jews, totally obliterate many communities in Rhineland and France. 1096 AD
7. Jews were expelled from England. 1290 AD
8. Queen Isabella and her husband, Ferdinand, ordered that the Jews be banished from Spain, initiating the Spanish Inquisition in which resulted in the expulsion of the Jews from the Iberian Peninsula. Families separated, many die by drowning, massive loss of property. 1492 AD
9 WW1, which most historians agree as the beginning of the WW1, WW2 and the Holocaust, began. 1914 AD
10. After the Nazi hierarchy determined that the annihilation of the Jews was the only solution to the "Jewish Problem", the Germans, intitiated thier mass deportations, of Jews, from German Territory. This is known as the infamous, "Jewish Death March". 1942 AD
11. The deadly bombing the building of the AMIA (the Jewish community center in Buenos Aires, Argentina) which killed 86 people and wounded some 300 others. 1994 AD

They all occurred, on Tisha B' Av, which is tomorrow. It is the beginning of three weeks of mourning. Many Biblical Scholars suspect that major endtime events will occur on the Tisha B' Av. Is this coincidence or all by design, and all part of the plan that God had laid out, to forewarn his people? Finally, in synogogues, around the world, Jews believe this is a sign of remembrance and a day of renewal. They proclaim that in the end, YHWH Saves. Amazingly, that is what Y'shua's, Jesus', name means.

... and that's what you'll find, When You Search For The Truth.

  1. Yes my friend, what you have said is true, but that was the Lord's doing, because His people were ALWAYS stubborn and stiff necked and always rejecting the Lord to this very day. Therefore the Lord scattered the people of Israel among the nations and told them that they will be hated by all the nations.

When the Lord God, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob (Jesus Christ) came to His own, they received Him NOT, but rejected Him and put Him on the cross in the place of a murderer Barabbas.
And all the people said, "His blood shall be on us and on our children !" (Mat. 27:25)

The hatred of Israel will always be there till they turn away from their false god and believe in the Lord Jesus Christ.
Only in Jesus Christ their rejection will be removed and are saved and apart from the Lord Jesus Christ is NO salvation for Israel and the Gentiles alike and for you and me.
But whosoever shall believe in the Lord Jesus Christ shall be saved and those who do not believe will be damned.

  2. How amazing is God, and His plan for all to be saved! He so loved the world!

'Lest you be wise in your own sight, I do not want you to be unaware of this mystery, brothers: a partial hardening has come upon Israel, until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in. And in this way all Israel will be saved, as it is written,
'The Deliverer will come from Zion,
he will banish ungodliness from Jacob, and this will be my covenant with them when I take away their sins.'
    Romans ch. 11 vs. 25-27

  3. Paul,
it was God Who brought the crucifixion of Jesus to pass, as stated in Romans ch. 3 v. 25.

'God presented Christ as a sacrifice of atonement, through the shedding of his blood--to be received by faith. He did this to demonstrate his righteousness, because in his forbearance he had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished--'

The name 'Barabbas' means 'son of the father', and It is not coincidence that the one who was set free from being put to death at Calvary was named Barabbas.
He represented fallen mankind, the children of Adam. On that day the Son of the heavenly Father was releasing the son of the earthly father from spiritual death and opening the way to eternal life to all of mankind.

    Praise His lovely name.

  4. Brenda, which God brought the crucifixion of Jesus to pass ?

    Can't you see ? It's metaphoric language.

The Lord Jesus Christ is the Lord God, and nobody has the power to put the Lord God on the cross.
The Lord Jesus went by His OWN initiative to the cross. For that very purpose God became a man to die for our sins.

You said, 'through the shedding of his blood--to be received by faith.'
What does that mean Brenda ?

  5. Paul,
you appear to believe that any scripture that does not line up with your doctrine is a 'metaphor'
None of the following scripture is a metaphor, and it explains much of how all authority was given to Jesus, and how God made Him our Lord, the One mediator between man and God, and how we learn through the Holy Spirit.

'I did not say these things to you from the beginning, because I was with you. But now I am going to Him who sent Me, and none of you asks Me, ‘Where are you going?’ But because I have said these things to you, sorrow has filled your heart. Nevertheless, I tell you the truth: it is to your advantage that I go away, for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you. But if I go, I will send Him to you. And when He comes, he will convict the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment: concerning sin, because they do not believe in Me; concerning righteousness, because I go to the Father, and you will see Me no longer; concerning judgment, because the ruler of this world is judged.
I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. When the Spirit of truth comes, He will guide you into all the truth, for He will not speak on his own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak, and He will declare to you the things that are to come. He will glorify Me, for He will take what is Mine and declare it to you. All that the Father has is Mine; therefore I said that he will take what is Mine and declare it to you.'

    John ch. 16 vs. 4b-16

  6. Paul,
As for your first comment, I agree, and Thank You!
However, concerning the metaphor controversy, the scriptures an I are in total agreement with Brenda, on this. The problem, with your metaphors, is that they don't agree with any literal interpretation.
