Happy Real Resurrection Day!!!

Did you know that today is the 1988th anniversary of the Resurrection of our Lord and Savior? The first Resurrection Day was the actual day of the Feast of First Fruits. As a side note, Feast of First Fruits always lands on the day, after the Shabbat, after  Pesach / Passover, which is always Sunday.

The first crucifixion day was on a Wednesday. By the way, there is no such thing as Good Friday, which was created by way of tradition and pagan observation. I will not go into that, in this post. Three days later, sometime after 6pm, on Saturday, Y'shua/Jesus rose from the grave. Remember, after 6pm, it would have been Sunday, the start of the Feast of First Fruits.

Praise God!

"Let The Rock That Was Rolled Away, Be My Cornerstone."

...and that's what you'll find When You Search For The Truth.

  1. Amen Keith,
    Hallelujah He is risen!
there are many traditions that are not associated with the Bible - Christmas, Easter etc. It is good for believers to praise God for Jesus every day, but we have to be very careful that the traditions of man do not make void the Word of God, and always go back to that Word as our plumb line and to find the truth.
I love the way we can all interact and unite in the Lord on the blogs.
I like very much what you share on your blog.

  2. Thanks, Brenda. I definitely enjoy yours too. I especially like what you said about, "...always go back to that Word as our plumb line and to find the truth."

    and

"I love the way we can all interact and unite in the Lord on the blogs."

    We are in total agreement.

  3. Hi Keith, You are very good with dates, maybe I have to brush up on that, in that regard I have become a little rusty :-)
But you are doing a good job.

  4. Hi Paul, Thanks! I praise God, when we find some common ground, on which we agree. I hope and pray we find more. May God Bless you and your family.

  5. Hi Keith! I read with interest your post today, with all the hallmarks to figure out the first crucifixion date and then the Resurrection. In my faith tradition, it is Good Friday today, with Easter being on Sunday.

The greatest thing, to me, to remember is that he died and then conquered death. If there really was no Good Friday, I'm okay with that. The truth of Jesus saving us all is the point, and our joy.

God bless you on Resurrection day, and every day after that. He is risen!

  6. Hi Ceil, We are in total agreement, concerning Y'shua/Jesus saving us is the point. My posts are to make us always cognitive of possible tradition al and translational errors, that could, unfortunately, cause some people to falter in the faith. I'm a firm believer that God's Word is inerrant. Therefore, all perceived errors are usually translational. I also try to make people aware that Satan has been and is still active, within the Body, in order to tempt people away from the faith. We can't be too cautious as to allow paganism and false doctrine to slip in. Satan would love that. But, as you said, we must keep our eye on the cross.

  7. Hi Keith,
I have to agree with you that translational errors can be part of mans' traditions making void the word of God, even one or two words can change the complete meaning of a whole verse of scripture.
Have you thought any more about your YouTube participation?

  8. Hi Ceil,
Amen to 'He is Risen.' Thank God for our lovely Saviour Jesus Christ the Son of God, who is the life giving Spirit, the last Adam - through Whom we have eternal life and reconciliation back to the Father.

  10. I will Keith,
it is not what we look like that matters, it is what we say - and we can all be a bit foolish at times, including me:-)
