The True Hierarchy Of Needs

Did you know that God has given us a "Hierarchy of Needs", to live satisfied lives and to reach self actualization, true happiness?

Everyone has heard of "Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs." Maslow used the terms "physiological", "safety", "belongingness" and "love", "esteem", "self-actualization", and "self-transcendence" to describe the pattern that human motivations generally move through, in order to achieve happiness. However, God put it in much simpler terms.

Love God...
Love Your Spouse
Love Your Family and Friends

In this example, Love means to be completely and totally committed to them. Once you have achieved these three simple things, in the listed precedence, you will achieve true happiness. I challenge you to try it out. I guarantee the results.

...and that's what you'll find When You Search For The Truth.

  1. I have always loved the description of the word 'love' in 1 Corinthians ch. 13 vs 4-7:-
'Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonour others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.'

It is an excellent 'mirror' for me to look into to see if I reflect what is there, and to correct me if I do not.

  3. Hi Keith,
Love God first, well, I always ask the same old question, which God do you love ?
Is it Buddha, Allah, Jehovah, Yahweh, Krishna or the Lord Jesus Christ ?
Only one of them is God and any other is an impostor.
If anyone fails in that question, then they love the wrong god and stand condemned and anything else matters little.

  4. Hey Paul, ...and I always respond the same.

    God is:

YHWH, Ehyeh Asher Ehyeh, YAHWEH, the great IAM.

    The one who has been.

The one who always will be.

The one who transcends time and space.

The one who provided his son, Y'shua, Jesus, before the beginning of time, as the perfect sacrifice for all who will freely come and rely on him for salvation.

The one who gave so much, but receives so little, in return, except the devoted love of the Remnant, in every generation.

This will never change, because it is based on the Truth, of the totality of the Scriptures, from his written Word of God and his Book of Nature, which has been proclaiming the Truth, since the beginning of time.

Half truths will not change this, for I am one with him, that is one with God. I am b'nai Elohim, a son of God, a grafted brother of the Messiah, Y'shua Ha Mashiach, who is the first of all creation, in the spiritual family of God, YAHWEH.

    B'ruch attah b'shem Adonai.

    B'ruch attah Y'shua b'shem Adonai.

    Shabbat Shalom, my friend!

  7. Thanks Keith, but you should have said,

    God is:

    Jesus Christ of Nazareth.

Who IS and who WAS and who IS to come, the Almighty ! (Rev. 1:8)

And the living One; who was dead, and behold I am alive forever more. (Rev. 1:18)

The first and the last who was dead, and has come to life, (Rev. 2:8)

And all who believe in Him will see His face, and His NAME will be on their foreheads, (Rev. 22:4)

To the ONLY God our saviour, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion and authority, before all time and now and forever. Amen. (Jude 1:25)

My friend, surely you will know that there is not such a thing as a "halve truth" ?
From where do you get that kind of thinking?

Surely not from the Lord Jesus.

  8. Paul, I have never once said that Y'Shua, Jesus is not God. I have always said that Jesus is 100% God, but also 100% man. You have a problem understanding the multidimensionality of God. You try to fit God into the small box of mans limited ability to comprehend him. In the meantime, you misconstrue scripture, to fit him into that box, because of your self-imposed, limited understanding, and miss out on a close relationship, with the God of the universe.
