Happy New Year

As the day closes tomorrow and ushers in another Shabbath, it brings with it the beginning of the new year. Rosh Hashanah means "beginning of the year". Rosh Hashanah also is the beginning of the Fall Feasts. Within scripture, we know it as Yom Teruah, the feast of trumpets or the feast of shofar blasts. It is also the half way mark of the religious calendar.

Tomorrow also marks the beginning of the ten days of awe which culminates at Yom Kippur, the day of atonement. Yom Kippur is followed by Sukkot, the Feast of Tabernacles, the actual birthday of the Messiah towards the middle of the month.

Many believe that since the spring feasts were prophetic of the first coming of the Messiah, the fall feasts are also prophetic of his second coming. Over the holiday season, I would like you to join me in studying these feasts and their implications and meaning to the true body of Christ.

  1. (le-havdil) The birthday of the historical Ribi Yehoshua is in the spring. See the "Calendar"-page in the below website.

  2. Shana Tova Anders,

Checked your website and found it to be informative as to the differences between the Remnant of G-d and the apostate church.

As for the birthdate of the Messiah, I could only find a statement that says Y'shua was Yehoshua was born in May of 7 BCE. Could you please refer to any substantiated proof as to your position.

All my studying of the scriptures have led me to a birthdate somewhere around the end of Tishri, typically September-October time period. However, we are always open to dicussion as we are, first and foremost, looking for the truth.

The good thing, and I praise G-d for this, is the fact that you are able to denounce the erroneous position of the apostate church. The position that claims December 25th as his birthdate.

I would love to disuss this further so please stay around. We are only 4 months away from a meeting of minds. I believe that Y'shua was born into this world on the 29th of Tishri, 7BCE.

    Shalom,
    Keith

  5. Hey Tim,

What is the "meeting of the minds" in 4 months? What is in January?

It's just my poor way of saying there is approximately four months difference between his belief of a May 29th, 7BC birthdate and my belief that Y'shua was born somewhere around the 29th of Tishri.
