Can We Understand The Nature Of God?

Did you know that many unbelievers discount God, because most Christians say that you can't understand God?

Well, unfortunately, it is true that most Christians say that. However, it is not true and I blame Christian Preachers, Priests, Teachers, etc. Why? Because the Bible is quite clear on who God is and why he does the things, he does. I can sit here and give you a long drawn out exhortation on what the Bible says, about God. But, I won't do that, because it comes down to only two thing, God Loves and Wants to Commune WITH YOU. What do you want?

You see, God created us, in his likeness, Body, Mind, Spirit and Soul. Before the Fall, God was able to bodily commune with man. In Genesis 3:8, God walked with Adam, in the garden, not in spirit, but completely, in bodily form. However, since the garden, he has been unable to completely commune with man, in his bodily form. He wants that so much.

After the fall, because of our sin, God is unable to be our presence, because it is against his nature. Therefore, the only way he can commune, with us, is through his Spirit. In the end, we will again be able to walk with him completely, in the Kingdom, the new heaven and new earth. But how do we get there from here?

For that reason, God dwelled Spiritually within the man Y'shua, who is called Jesus. Many say that Jesus is the Father, but that cannot be, because it would have been against God's nature, to dwell bodily, with man. The Bible tell us that Sin repulses God. Also, if God was Y'shua, it would also violate other parts of his nature, such as God cannot be sin, God cannot die, God cannot lie, which are three reasons Y'shua, could not be the Father.

Y'shua was made sin for us, on the cross. This would have violated God's nature, if he were God.
Y'shua died on the cross. This would have violated God's nature, because God cannot die.
If Y'shua was the Father, then he lied to his Apostles, when he told them that he did not know the time or day of his return. This would have violated God's nature, because God cannot lie.

When I say Y'shua was 100% God and 100% man, I mean that all men are 100% Body, 100% Spirit, 100% Mind and 100% Soul, speaking dimensionally. In the same way manner, Y'shua was 100% Man-Body, 100% God-Spirit, 100% Man-Mind and 100% Man-Soul. This doesn't mean he is a duality or that there are two Gods. God is Echad, one.

In God's dimension, his Body, Spirit, Soul and Mind has a separate but dependent working relationship. That is why he is called Elohim, Gods, in the Tanakh, the Old Testament. This is how God can dwell with all believers and not violate his sinless nature.

That's just part of what the scriptures say about God and his nature. Can you imagine what else is in the Bible, if you search it out?

... and that's what you'll find, When You Search For The Truth.

  1. Hi Keith, if it would be that clear who God is, then we would not have a debate for so long.
And what you have said about God is just not true.

You said that Jesus is 100% God, what about your other god Yahweh, is he also 100% God ??

  2. Hi Paul. The Scriptures are quite clear about the nature of God and it is as I wrote above, in the post. The problem is that Satan inspired the Masoretic Jews to change scripture, in an attempt to counter the Christian movement, by changing many of the messianic references. Then, the translators of the King James, were inspired to take the erroneous Masoretic Text, put their doctrinal twist on it and translated into English. There is where the problem lies. The book, that you are reading is full of errors and man-made doctrines, not the original Scriptures.

You see, my friend, it is my job to put the truth out there. Whether or not you believe it, is between you and God and again, only you will have to answer for it.

  3. Hi Keith,
I have sometimes wondered what God's body is like.
We are told in Exodus ch. 33 that no one can see Him and live and that is why Jesus came in the body of a man but had the Spirit of God within Him, so that the people would be looking on the man Jesus but be in the presence of God.

There are so many things that are still mystery in the Bible, even what we shall look like when we leave this body.
In 1 Corinthians ch. 15 we are told:-
'So will it be with the resurrection of the dead: What is sown is perishable; it is raised imperishable. It is sown in dishonor; it is raised in glory. It is sown in weakness; it is raised in power. It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body.…'

In 1 John 3, 2 we are told:-

'Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when He shall appear, we shall be like Him; for we shall see Him as He is.'

I notice in Genesis ch. 2 man was 'formed' from the dust of the ground, while in Genesis ch. 5 mankind (plural) was made in the likeness of God.

I believe that ch. 5 of Genesis could be spiritually representing our being made in the likeness of God by being born again of the Spirit, and that the Adam here could be spiritually referring to the second Adam, Jesus. The fact that this Adam lived 930 years, which spiritually represents 'the old has gone, the new has come' here could spiritually be representing the fact that through the death of the second Adam, Jesus, we have access to eternal life (as in the old has gone, the new has come) and all of Adam's descendants here could represent we who descend in spirit from the Spiritual Adam.

This probably sounds quite confusing to you, but I find it very difficult to put into words what I see in the scriptures.

It is so fascinating, and that is why it is good that we all share our thoughts, as no one has it all.

  4. Hi Brenda, The scriptures do give us a glimpse into what our resurrection bodies will be like. Before the fall, Adam has a similar physical assemblance as we do, but was clothed in light. This is also seen in the Transfiguration Incident, when Y'shua was transformed into the multidimensional being, clothed in light, that we were designed to have. We often try to distance ourselves from looking like God, because of our sinfulness. However, in reality, we are physically alike, without being clothed in light.

You are so correct. We are B'nai Elohim, direct descendants/creations of God. We need not look anywhere else, but at ourselves, when we want to know what God actually looks like, because we are in his likeness.

  5. Keith. The Scriptures are not so clear concerning the nature of God.
And no, you can't blame the devil, the Masoretic text is NOT the Word of God.

How long is it going to take, till you believe that the BIBLE is the Word of God and not the Masoretic text or any other text.

And ANY of the translators of the Bible were inspired by God, the Bible is called God's Word and it has nothing to do with the translators.
Well, and neither has it anything to do with the devil. It's God's Word and the devil cannot change God's Word, he is not that good.

  6. Brenda, a mystery is only a mystery to those who do NOT understand, but to those who understand, to them it's no mystery.
And if it is a mystery to you, then don't teach something you don't understand.

  7. Paul, A quick comment about mysteries, within the Bible. You are wrong, again. What did the seven thunders say, in Revelation? There are more, but you won't listen to a simple truth.

As for how will it take for me to acknowledge that the Bible is the Word of God. I already have. However, your bible isn't the Word of God. Y'shua, Jesus, himself didn't even read the text that you are reading from. Why would I acknowledge untruths? It's just not going to happen. How long are you going to bury your head in the ground?

  8. Keith, Jesus didn't need to read any text of Scriptures, because it is He who wrote it all.
Concerning Revelation and the seven thunders, if you do not understand the natural, how then can you understand the metaphoric ?

  9. Paul, As for Y'shua reading, please read Luke 4:16.

And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read.

So you are telling me that you don't know what is the mystery of the seven thunders?
