God Hates The Ways And Doctrines Of The Nicolaitans

Did you know that there are theologians, within the church, and scholars, outside of the church, that state, that the Bible can only be interpreted properly, with advanced institutional training, that we need to listen to what they say? Well, what does the Bible actually say about this? The Bible actually says that the True Believer has the gift of God's spirit dwelling with in them, which leads them into All Truth. John 16:13. Notice that the verse says, "all truth", not some truth.

Rev 2:6 and 2:15, also, says that God hates the ways and doctrine of the "Nicolaitans". Nicolaitans are those who raise themselves above the laity, the people of the church. The Nicolaitan System places clergy between the Believer and God. If you have been hurt or driven away, by these types of people, or a church, who practices this, remember that the Bible says that these types of people have no place in the Kingdom of God. However, you do.

God is constantly calling his people, the Remnant, back to him. If you don't have a relationship with the Creator of the Universe, remember, there is no better time, than right now.

...and that's what you'll find, When You Search For The Truth.

  1. I agree with you Keith.

    Hebrews ch. 8 v. 11:-
And they shall not teach, each one his neighbour and each one his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’for they shall all know me,from the least of them to the greatest.'
    reflects Jeremiah ch. 31 v. 34:-
'And no longer shall each one teach his neighbour and each his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ for they shall all know me, from the least of them to the greatest, declares the Lord. For I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.'

God's 'church' is God's spiritual Israel, and the trouble with much of the church today (as reflected by the Nicolaitans), they are worshipping the created more than the Creator in putting 'pastors' and mans' doctrine who are taught by man in the place of the Lord and the scriptures.

  2. Hi Brenda, I use the Nicolaitan example, when I teach or discuss the Gospel. It's one of the glaring examples of why Y'shua will say to many "believers", "Depart from me, I never knew you." Most believers focus is on building a church building or building up their leadership, rather than God. It's very unfortunate and one of the things, that I find it hard to get over. The fact that there will be some, including some of our family members, that are not part of the Remnant of God.

  3. I know Keith, and I feel the same.

That is why it is so important to share testimonies, as the Word of God that is contained in each person's testimony can not go out and return void to Him.

I am reminded of how we overcome the spiritual enemy by the blood of the lamb and the word of our testimony as written in (Rev. ch. 12 v. 11). Praise God for Jesus His Son, the sacrificial lamb.

The scripture 'And seven women shall take hold of one man in that day, saying, 'We will eat our own bread and wear our own clothes, only let us be called by your name; take away our reproach.''(Isaiah ch. 4 v.1) spiritually reflects the state of the whole church today, and goes together with the seven churches in Revelation.

I believe that together the 'seven women' reflect the church in this latter day(as contained in the whole of the seven church story) who take hold of One man (Christ Jesus), but say 'We will eat our own bread (doctrine),wear our own clothes (not the robe of righteousness found only in Jesus),only let us be called by Your Name to take away our reproach.(believing that just being called a 'Christian' will save them.)
I included what I believe about this in one of my former posts.

I am sure that you, as I do, pray constantly for all to come to the knowledge of salvation through Jesus and be reconciled back to God, for God wants all to be saved doesn't He? We must work out our salvation daily and endeavour to do what we believe God has called each of us to do in the Lord Jesus.

  4. Once again, we are in total agreement. That is also one of the things that amazes me about God. He goes to great lengths, including the giving of his son, to bring us back into the fold. Yet, he doesn't get what he wants out of the deal, that, "All humanity to be delivered and come to full knowledge of the truth.". Notice what it says, "full knowledge". Like you said, it's not just saying, "I am a Christian!", it's living a truly dedicated God centered life and the resulting desire to know your bridegroom.

I hope you have a Great Day! Shabbat Shalom

    1. Have had a wonderful day again today Keith, we find there are more people being brought to Y'shua by God, and we believe part of it is because the prophesies regarding the end times in the Bible are proving to be true, and there is only One doorway back to God, Y'shua.
Shabbat Shalom to you and your family too. (I just looked it up to see it's meaning.)

  8. Well Done, my brother! If I can, let me expound on that, a little bit. it is victory, conquest, as in to rule over the Laity, the people.

Isn't it amazing, that for years, people have been arguing over who or what the Nicolaitans were, and all they had to do was to break down the word and see the reflection in the mirror.

  9. Yes Tim, that has troubled me for years that church leadership (clergy) are ruling over their congregations.
Perhaps, that is the DEEDS of the Nicolaitans.

  10. You’re the only one I found that answered this correctly. I heard it also from chuck missler on his teaching on book of revelation. Lording it over the layity We should be servants without partiality. Then we give all the glory to Father, son, and Holy Spirit, not to a church entity. Some people put more faith in men. We should respect men who paid the price in faith, but we have to know God by his word.
