What Do You Mean? Not All Christians Are Going To ?????

Did you know that there will be Christians, that will claim Y'shua, Jesus, as their Lord, but will not enter the Kingdom of Heaven?

That's what Y'shua, Jesus, said, in Matthew 7:21-23.

“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord!’ will enter the Kingdom of Heaven, only those who do what my Father in heaven wants. On that Day, many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord! Didn’t we prophesy in your name? Didn’t we expel demons in your name? Didn’t we perform many miracles in your name?’ Then I will tell them to their faces, ‘I never knew you! Get away from me, you workers of lawlessness!’"

There are many that teach that all one has to do, to be saved, is believe, in the Lord Jesus Christ. That's it. Say the words. No more. That's what Y'shua, Jesus, said, in John 3:16. Others say that you have to work out your salvation. Philippians 2:12. So, Why is Y'shua, Jesus, saying, ‘I never knew you! Get away from me, you workers of lawlessness!’?

Notice, that, in the verses above, the believer believes and calls, upon the name of Y'shua, and obviously was acting or working out his salvation. So, what's missing that would exclude him from the Kingdom of Heaven? Well, the fact that the believer started to list his accomplishments tells us that he put more reliance, on his deeds, rather that relying on and getting to know, Y'shua.

Also, the last verse says it all. Y'shua calls him a worker of lawlessness, which nails down his condemnation. The believer was nailing his list of accomplishments on the wall, for all to see, instead of nailing his failure to obey the law, to the cross. God wants us to totally rely on and trust in the blood of Y'shua, as a sin covering. Out of that trust, the works will flow automatically, as you work out your salvation, as an act of love, not as compliance to the law.

...and that's what you'll find, When You Search For The Truth.

  1. Hi Keith, yes, all you have to do is to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and then you shall be saved, believe NOT and you shall be damned.
Believe in a god called Yahweh and you shall be damned.
Believe in a god called Allah and you shall be damned.
Believe in any other name and you shall be damned.

Well my friend, it's that simple, every little child can do that :-)
If you would believe in the Lord Jesus Christ then you definitely would NOT believe in a god called Yahweh.

  2. Hi Paul. The Scriptures totally agree with you in that salvation is provided, by God, through the Blood Sacrifice of the Son of God, Y'shua, which means Yah Ehyeh Saves!

All other issues are up for discussion and does not apply to your salvation status. However, they do affect your relationship with God. I hope and pray, that one day, you will dig in to the roots of the Word of God.

  3. Keith,
you have worded this post beautifully. Working out our salvation does not include 'boasting'. It is a desire to be obedient through loving the One Who first loved us.

  4. No Keith, I did not say that salvation is provided.
To the contrary, Jesus is NOT a salvation provider, but rather He is a saviour, a mighty saviour.

Do you think, that there is some kind of a smorgasbord table of salvation and everybody can go and help themselves if they like it ?
And if they don't like it, they can spit it out again ?

No no my friend, it's not like that.

  5. If I can jump in here.

Paul, have you ever read 1John 2? It says, "My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have an advocate with the Father—Jesus Christ, the Righteous One. He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world."

Do you know what the word, "Advocate" means? It means a person through which something is provided.

  6. Hey Hiker Boy. You took the words out of my mouth. Thanks!

  7. Paul, In addition, to what Hiker Boy said, let me add.

2 Corinthians 5:21 “For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God through Him.”

Acts 4:12 “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.”

John 14:6 "Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."

1 Corinthians 8:6 "yet for us there is but one God, the Father, from whom all things came and for whom we exist. And there is but one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things came and through whom we exist."

I could go on, but I believe you get the point....or do you?

  8. Yes Hiker Boy, I have read 1 John 2, :-) and no ! 'Advocate' does not mean provider.
    Good try my friend ;-)

An advocate is similar to a lawyer who represents your case.

  9. Yes Keith, but that does not say that Jesus provided salvation, and neither does it say that Jesus is a salvation provider.

A salvation provider is NOT a saviour, he only throws you a hoop so that you can save yourself if you have the strength to grab the hoop, and if you don't, you drown.

The Lord Jesus Christ is a lot better than that, He is a MIGHTY saviour.

  10. That is right Paul, as you say to Hiker Boy, an 'advocate' is similar to a lawyer who represents your case'.

An advocate is:- 'a person who puts a case on someone else's behalf:', which is what a lawyer does.

However, there has to be someone who the lawyer (advocate) is putting the case to.
Regarding Who Jesus was putting our case to when He was being our mediator (lawyer or advocate), it was God.

  11. Paul, I didn't say, that Y'shua provided Salvation. I said that God provided Salvation through his Son, Y'shua. He provided a Salvation Plan, through which, man has a choice to follow. If he does, then he has eternal life, otherwise eternal existence without God.

Do me a favor, and stop what you are doing and open your Bible, to Genesis 22:14 and please read. Please respond with it says, word for word. If you are a genuine person, you will do as I ask.

  12. Hiker Boy, I agree with you. Advocate is a provider of a service or counseling. That is exactly what Y'shua is, a provider of the needed sacrifice for our sins and now intercedes, for us, to the Father.

I know you probably know this, if you have reading along with us, over the years. Paul, and others like him, believe that the English translations and word meaning supersede the original Hebrew and Greek.

  13. Paul, as a separate issue. You said,

"A salvation provider is NOT a saviour, he only throws you a hoop so that you can save yourself if you have the strength to grab the hoop, and if you don't, you drown."

I didn't say that. What you are describing is a works based salvation, which is very unscriptural.

God provided a perfect sacrifice, for our sins. All we have to do is trust that sacrifice and follow through with what God wants. That is a God Center life. If you sin, confess it to God and trust that the Blood of Y'shua covers our sin.

  14. Right, let's put some of what each has said together eh?

    Hiker boy said:-
'Do you know what the word, "Advocate" means? It means a person through which something is provided.' - correct

    Keith said:-
'John 14:6 "Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.":- correct.

    Paul said:-
'An advocate is similar to a lawyer who represents your case.' correct.

    I said:-
'However, there has to be someone who the lawyer (advocate) is putting the case to.' correct.

    Jesus said:-
'Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.”

Thank God the Father for Jesus, our ADVOCATE, THROUGH Whom was PROVIDED access to eternal life.
