Kingdom Parables Are Warnings Too?

Did you know that the Kingdom Parables, found in Matthew 13 and Mark 4, were originally taught not only as examples of what the Kingdom would be like, but as warnings? A great example of this is the Parable of the Mustard Seed. God is very consistent with his symbolism. Within the Jewish culture of the first century, a mustard Bush was not allowed to grow into a tree, but maintained as a bush. Also, the birds of the air is consistently used to represent disciples of Satan or even Satan himself. Even though the Parable of the Mustard Seed is an example of how the kingdom can grow from the smallest seed, but it is also a warning not to let the local congregation grow too big as to allow the disciples of Satan or even Satan himself find a home, to influence the flock. Unfortunately, Satan is alive and well and has infiltrated our church, due to the Body of Christ forgetting its Jewish Roots. Remember, Y'shua, Jesus did not come to establish another religion but to fulfill the original one.
