If debris makes it pass the Bow Shock, it has to contend independently, with the Oort Cloud and Kuiper Belt debris fields. That is why we have very infrequent large visitors, to our cozy little neighborhood. Most large asteroids and comets have to be traveling, in a perpendicular path, to make it to us. With our solar system traveling 828,000 km/hr, it would be like hitting a fast baseball, with a paper airplane, in a wind storm.
With all that said, isn't it very "COINCIDENTAL", that our solar system, is the only one, known to have this unique protection. It's almost like it was designed, for us.
