Did you know there are numerous hidden messages, throughout the Tanakh (Old Testament), especially, within the Torah, the first five books, of the Bible?
In recent years, with the advent of specialized software, Biblical Scholars have been able to dig into and discover the hidden language, within the Bible, which has been hinted at, by both Jewish and Christian Bible readers, since the first century. Within his Word, God informs us, or hints, of this language and the resulting messages, in Proverbs 25:2, Isaiah 28:9-11, Amos 3:7 and John 8:56.
With that said, while studying his Word, last night, I came across another one. In Genesis 11, after the story of the Tower of Babel Dispersion Incident, out of the blue, we find the genealogy of Shem, leading into the story of Abraham. As in the past, when you take the meanings of the names, you will find a message.
To make it brief, as possible, the genealogy of Shem and their meanings are as follows:
Name / Meaning
Shem / to make or maintain the fame of his name
Arphaxad / a sacrifice, implying a child/offspring
Salah / he will raise up or send as to affirm
Eber / to cause the wrath to pass over
Peleg / to create a channel
Serug / a grafted branch
Nahor / a powerful breathing or pouring out
Terah / spirit
Abram / the exalted father
Spelled out is another prophesy, saying basically, the same thing, as we found, in the genealogy of Adam to Noah.
To make or maintain the fame of his name, a sacrifice, (implying a offspring), will he raise up or send (as to affirm), to cause (his) wrath to pass over, creating a channel, for a grafted branch, for a powerful breathing or pouring out of the Spirit of the Exalted Father.
To me, what's more amazing, is that the Spirit of God, also listed out the immediate family of Abram, which extends the message.
Nahor / a powerful breathing or pouring out
Haran / on the mountain
Sarai / Princess or bridesmaid
Milcah / queen, as in the wife of the king
This extension tells us that the out pouring of God's Spirit will be initiated on "THE MOUNTAIN", for the Bridesmaid and Wife of the King.
Ask any Jew or Christian, "What is THE MOUNTAIN?" and they will immediately tell you that it is Mt. Zion, on which Jerusalem sits. Now ask anyone, "Who was sacrificed on the Mountain of Zion, in Jerusalem?", and they will respond, Y'shua, Jesus.
Here we have, almost 2000 years, before the crucifixion of the Messiah, a prophesy, telling us, that that God will raise up a sacrifice, for our sins, resulting in the outpouring of his Spirit, onto those, who believe, whether it is a gentile (Bridesmaid) or Jew (Wife).
Check it out, for yourself. No other book has this phenomena, in it. I challenge you to prove me wrong.
