My studies have resulted in many amazing discoveries, which have confirmed that the Tanakh/Old Testament scriptures, from Reshith (Genesis) to Malachi, testifies of the Messiah, Y’shua/Jesus, just as Y’shua/Jesus said, in John 5:39.
“You study the Scriptures diligently because you think that in them you have eternal life. These are the very Scriptures that testify about me.”

It's amazing how the Lord works. Even though your heart lingers with another one, our Lord God causes you to speak the truth, even within your lies. Our God is powerful to make you admit and testify that your Bible does not contain the original meaning of God's Truth. Praise God for your Freudian Slips. Even through your rhetoric, the Holy Spirit can be heard speaking to your heart. It's time to listen to him, my friend, before it's too late.
However, you are 100% correct, when you say that it's not complicated. Jesus predicted that there would be "birds of the air", Satan's followers, within the church, and you are evidence of this.
The sad thing is you don't even recognize it or the truth anymore. It's obvious that at one time, you turned to the Lord, because you speak of Jesus. However, when you compare your words to His Word, it's obvious your have strayed.

There are many scriptures that cause us to test whether we please God or not. One of them is whether we love God or not, for without love it is impossible to please God.

'If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal'
So in order to please God one of the things we need to learn and practice is to love God and also to love one another.
What is the true meaning of 'love'? 1 Corinthians ch. 13 vs. 4-7 read regarding love:-
'Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonour others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.'
I remember asking the Lord once to teach me about 'patience' as I looked up the meaning of the word and found that it means 'the ability to endure with 'calmness'. The Lord sent me to work in a care home for the elderly. It definitely answered my prayer.
Are we 'patient and kind' all of us? That is a question that will tell us if we love and please God.
And may I add what Y’shua/Jesus said about love. We are to love one another as ourselves. If we treat others differently than what we would treat ourselves, then the Spirit of God is not within us. Thanks, Brenda.

Hi Keith, that is right, and what is coming into my mind is 'do unto others as you would have them do unto you.' I love the fact that the scriptures are a living Word, and can instruct us and cause us to mature in Christ gradually. It is good to interact regarding our beliefs and scriptural truths, but it is always good to do it in a respectful way, and I have to say that I find you have always done that.

God knows exactly how to reach each person and that written Word will not go out and come back void to Him. It does not prevent me from praying for anyone, which I do, and He knows exactly how to convince and convict all through His Word. If we do not accept the Word spoken to us or try to ADD or TAKE AWAY from that Word, then that Word itself is our judge. I pray for all of us not to add or take away from that Word. Amen.

I can never forget when I was a child my Father's voice saying 'let's see what the Lord says' when my siblings and myself, after arguing, would ask him who was right. I believe these words are brought back into my mind as an instruction to search the scriptures and use that WRITTEN WORD as the sole plumb line regarding the truth when having a discussion about the Bible.
