The Bible Can't Make Up It's Mind? So Many Contradictions!!

Did you know that Atheists say that the Bible is contradictory on how many disciples, Y’shua , Jesus, revealed himself to, after his resurrection?

They ridicule the Bible, by indicating that, "It can’t make up its mind.". They start off by indicating that, in one place, it says 10, another 11, and in another, 12. The Atheist presents this as proof that the Bible was written, by man, with no help from a fictitious God.

Honestly, this is one of the most disingenuous claims, as all they had to do is read the Bible and they would find, that the ten disciples reference was after Judas killed himself and Thomas was absent.  Simple math:  12-1-1=10.

The place where it indicated that 11 disciples were present was when all the Apostles were present, except Judas. It clearly says this, in John’s account of two separate Y'shua, Jesus, visits, in John 20:24-29.

Finally, the twelve Apostle account was taken from Paul’s letter, to the Corinthians. He mentions that Y’shua, Jesus, appeared to ”The Twelve”.  Well, all one would have to do is read the six verses, again, in John 20:24-29, to realize that the core group of Y’shua’s, Jesus’ disciples were referred to, as “The Twelve”, even after Judas’ death, by John,  one of the Apostles, himself.

Once again, this shows that Satan is alive and well and using the tactic of half-truths, in order to cause people to stumble, in their faith. All you have to do is follow the example, in Acts 17:11. Receive the message, regardless of the content, but search it out, for yourselves.

…and that’s what you’ll find, When You Search For The Truth.

  1. Hi Keith,
as I was reading the last paragraph in your post it came into my mind 'If we seek we shall find', and then I read your words '…and that’s what you’ll find, When You Search For The Truth.'
It is all about seeking Him, and that is something which atheists do not do. The Word of God is foolishness to the carnal mind.

  2. Good post my friend :-)
All though I don't think that there is such a thing as a half-truth, either something is true or else it's a lie.
If there would be a half-truth, then there would also be a white lie.

  3. Hi Brenda, I also reminded that there will be a time, when we will stand before him and hear either, "We'll done! Good and Faithful Servant." or "Depart from me, for I never knew you." It's all about seeking and getting to know him.

  4. Hi Paul. Thanks! I agree with you about half-truths and white lies. Truth is truth. A lie is a lie. No matter how you look at it. On the other hand, and I think you would agree that a half-truth is a deceptive statement that includes some element of truth and that's how Satan has operated, since the garden.
